Creating new ideas through co-operative working is at the heart of every MEX. We use MEX breakout sessions to tap into the combined intellectual power of the 100 pioneering individuals who attend the event.

The result is you leave MEX with a tangible return on your investment: a series of visual outputs from your breakout team, close relationships with your MEX team members and inspiring new concepts to try when you get back to the office. Here's how it works:

1. Several dedicated breakout sessions over the 2 days, closely linked to the agenda themes
2. Each MEX attendee joins a small breakout team of approximately 10 people from a diverse range of industry backgrounds
3. Teams are assigned a thought-provoking challenge to solve during the breakout sessions
4. Teams led by expert, MEX-appointed facilitators and dedicated designers to help visualise the team's thoughts
5. Teams provided with a range of inspirations to provoke new thinking, curated by the MEX team and ranging from building materials to new product demos
6. All teams present their response back to the main conference at the end of the event
